Our goal is simple: make institutional investment activity easier to discover, understand, and act upon.
What is a 13F filing?
A Form 13F is a quarterly filing submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) by certain institutional investment managers.
The SEC — Securities and Exchange Commission — is the U.S. federal agency responsible for regulating securities markets and protecting investors.
Institutional investment managers that exercise investment discretion over $100 million or more in Section 13(f) securities are generally required to file Form 13F.
A 13F filing provides a snapshot of an institutional manager’s reportable U.S. equity holdings at the end of a quarter.
QuantyFight processes these filings and transforms the underlying regulatory data into structured analytics, historical trends, and readable investment insights.
What can SEC filings tell you?
13F filings are only one part of the broader SEC disclosure ecosystem. Different SEC forms provide visibility into different aspects of market activity:
| SEC filing | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Form 13F | Quarterly snapshot of reportable institutional holdings and how they change |
| Form 4 | Insider transactions, such as purchases and sales by company insiders |
| Schedule 13D / 13G | Investors acquiring more than 5% of a company’s voting securities |
| Form 8-K | Material corporate events and significant company announcements |
| Form 10-Q | Quarterly financial and business reporting |
| Form 10-K | Annual financial and business reporting |
These filings create a rich public record of how companies, insiders, and institutional investors interact with the market.
From filings to insights
Raw SEC filings were designed for regulatory disclosure — not for easy investment research. QuantyFight sits between the filings and the investor.
We collect, structure, normalize, and analyze SEC data to answer questions such as:
- ·Which institutional investors are increasing their exposure?
- ·Which stocks are attracting the most institutional capital?
- ·Where are major funds reducing their positions?
- ·Which holdings are becoming more or less concentrated?
- ·How are institutional portfolios changing over time?
- ·Which sectors are receiving or losing institutional capital?
- ·Which managers are moving in the same direction?
- ·Where are significant changes in institutional ownership emerging?
QuantyFight then uses AI to turn these underlying data points into readable, contextual insights.
Follow the smart money
Institutional investors manage trillions of dollars, and their portfolio decisions can provide valuable signals about market positioning.
QuantyFight helps you move beyond individual filings and look at the bigger picture — aggregating institutional activity to reveal capital flows, emerging trends, portfolio changes, and areas of concentration.
Follow the data. Understand the movement. See where the money is going.
Built for data-driven investors
QuantyFight is designed for investors, analysts, researchers, and anyone who wants a clearer view of institutional market activity without having to manually interpret thousands of regulatory filings.
We believe financial data should not require a spreadsheet, a filing archive, and hours of manual research to become useful.
